Q: How did you meet Israel? A: Israel Wayne Hynes was a good friend and brother in the Lord. We met in Corner Brook first when Wayne was operating a small convenience store in Curling and I was running a video game business and had a pinball machine in Waynes store. We became good friends and later Wayne began attending the same church I was attending and he was always a faithful and loyal friend and brother in the Lord. He had a heart of gold and always wanted to do the best thing for anyone and everyone he knew and had a great sense of humor. Wayne was a very hard worker and was a dedicated servant of the Lord and loved the Bible and scriptures! After he moved to the U.S. we met once again in Corner Brook in about 2010 and then recently I spoke with him on the phone in mid December when I heard he was ill. He was still in good spirits and was so happy to still be able to serve the Lord with his solid testimony of being "born-again" and saved to life eternal by God through his faith in our living Savior Jesus Christ. My sincerest condolences to Waynes family and loved ones on his passing. Revelation 21:4

So sorry to hear of Wayne’s passing but we know he is no longer in pain and he has gone home to be with his Lord and Saviour who he talked about quite often. Wayne was our landlord for many years as we rented from him when we lived on Georgetown Road he was not only our landlord but he became a very good friend. Our condolences to his children and grandchildren, and to all the Hynes family. He will always have a special place in our heart. Lea and Margaret Russell and family.

Wayne was a great neighbor and friend. He will be missed at our evening fires in the summer , he always had a story or two to share, and most always carried over a armload of logs after a hard days work of clearing land in Cormack. He had so much strength and energy. Condolences to the family. You will be missed my friend!
