To Aunt Gladys Family: I am so sorry to hear of Aunt Gladys passing. She was such a tender loving soft spoken person. Clyde always wanted to visit his aunt whenever we were on the West coast. He loved her dearly and now he is in heaven and so is Aunt Gladys i so they will meet again. There aren’t any magic words that can ease your pains. She is now in the presence of the one she lived for and that alone gives so much comfort. Your mom brought love, kindness and wisdom into your lives in ways only a special person can. Though Aunt Gladys has gone to be with Jesus her legacy lives on in your hearts and in the lessons she shared. Sending prayers and blessings as you navigate this difficult time. God bless you all!!

This beautiful soul touched my heart in a way that is difficult for me to describe. In my brief visits with her our conversations were so deep and spiritual from discussing the past , our dreams -her dreams, the loss of her daughters and also one of her favourite songs “ This World is not my Home” I feel truly thankful and blessed to have met this woman in my journey here in this world ❤️ May God bless this beautiful lady and welcome her home with open arms. Sincere condolences to her family as I’m sure she will be dearly missed.

Our sincere condolences on the passing of this beautiful lady. Growing up next door on Sherwood Avenue, our whole family were so fortunate to have Mrs. White as a second mother. She was always looking out for all the children in our neighborhood. She always had a smile for us and we loved visiting her whenever we were home in Corner Brook. We saw her just this past August, and she was so happy to see us and catch up! May your many memories of her help you celebrate her beautiful life! Thinking of you all at this time, Heber and Paula Halfyard, Kilbride NL

Aunt Gladys was a special person. I never once heard her express a negative word about anybody or anything. Warmth and love radiated from Aunt Gladys like a a finely stoked fire in a wood stove. I was lucky to have sat at her dining room table and eaten dozens of her wonderful meals, which often ended with Aunt Gladys proudly sharing photos of the newest addition to her and Uncle Harry’s ever growing family! She will be missed by all who had the opportunity to meet her and bask in the presence of her beautiful smile, and glowing personality! She was truly “one of a kind,” in the best possible way!

To the White Family. We were so sorry to hear of Gladys passing. At 99 years young, she lived a long and meaningful life, and it was truly a pleasure to know her. After my mom passed, I stayed in touch with Gladys, knowing how much that would have meant to Mom. Warren and I always cherished our visits with her, she was such a gentle soul and loved sharing family stories that we will always treasure. Her family was very special to her and brought her great joy throughout her life. Though her health required her to move into a retirement home, she never stopped reminding us how much she loved her own home. She will be remembered with great fondness and love. Gladys will always hold a special place in our hearts. Love Gertie and Warren Fowler. Lanse au Loup Labrador.

To Terry, Karen, Don, Kevin, Glen and Brenda and the rest of your families, we are so sorry for your tremendous loss. We know you have so many wonderful memories that yo will cherish forever. Aunt Gladys was my second mother when I moved to Corner Brook, as a 16/17 year old. She took me in with all of you and treated me as if I were her own. She also looked after our son, Bradley, while Linda was in hospital giving birth to our daughter Donna. We all felt part of the family. We enjoyed lots of good visits with Uncle Harry and aunt Gladys and their friends, lots of laughs. We have had the privilege to visit with aunt Gladys over the past five years. She was always so kind, A very wonderful aunt and person. Our hearts and prayers are with you all. We are so sorry that we can't be there with you all, at this sad time, May God bless. Bert, Linda, Brad & Donna.

So very sorry to hear of Mrs. White's passing. What a wonderful, quiet lady. She and her entire family were our neighbours on Sherwood for many years. Mrs. White always looked out for all the children on Sherwood (and there were many). All our families were close and we always felt comfortable in whatever house we may have been in. To live to 99, wow. May God bless you Mrs. White.

Mrs White’s family: We were privileged to have met Mrs White when we moved to Corner Brook in 1992, next door to Glenn. She was such a warm, soft spoken gentle person who reflect a godly life and a very deep personal relationship with Jesus, her Lord and Saviour. She cared deeply about her family and prayed for her children, especially those who never had accepted Jesus as Saviour. Who will pray for them now? She was such a caring mom! There is so much to celebrate her. She is definitely presently with her Lord. Terry our special friend, know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. Please accept our condolences. I was so sorry to hear of Gladys' passing! She was a dear sweet lady, loved by so many. She was my Mom's best friend and they called each other every day just to check in. I have wonderful memories of growing up on Sherwood Ave. and always feeling welcome at Gladys' house. It was on a recent visit to her in Dec. that she was telling me stories about my sister and I when we were young! Such a good memory and such a kind hearted soul. Sending condolences to all the family. I'm sorry I won't be there for her celebration of life as I am out of the province now visiting my family, but I will be thinking about her. May she RIP.❤️
