Krysta Carline Noseworthy

June 7, 1982 – September 3, 2022

Corner Brook, NL

With absolutely broken hearts, the family of Krysta Noseworthy announce her tragic passing on September 3rd., 2022 in St. John’s, NL at the age of 40 years.

Krysta (or Krys as she was known to most of her friends) was an amazing and unique person who always marched to the beat of her own drum. She was beautiful and intelligent, with a vast wealth of knowledge well beyond her years.

She was a kind and compassionate soul, always concerned about the well-being of others, especially the less fortunate in this world, and she had a strong inclination to what was just and fair from a very young age.

Krysta was exceptionally creative and artistic, and after leaving her hometown of Corner Brook, she used these skills to travel the world as a tattoo artist, living abroad extensively before deciding to put down roots in Melbourne, Australia several years ago.

But most of all, Krysta was fiercely independent and adventurous. She wanted to experience whatever the world had to offer. She travelled to many countries in the world to learn about their different traditions and made friends and integrated into cultures wherever her travels took her. She especially enjoyed her adventures while living “down under”, whether it was horseback riding while working on a cattle ranch in Northern Queensland or scuba diving with sharks on the Gold Coast or the freedom she experienced while driving her motorcycle to many places throughout Australia.

Krysta fought as bravely as she could for as long as she could against her mental illness demons. She was a warrior, but unfortunately, not all warriors survive their battles.

With many precious memories, Krysta leaves to mourn her loving parents, Carl and Maxine Noseworthy, and her older brother Brock. She also leaves to mourn many aunts, uncles and cousins from both the Noseworthy and Anderson families, as well as numerous friends from all around the globe. Her spirit will forever be missed by those it touched.

Krysta is predeceased by her grandparents, Arch and Dorothy Noseworthy and Maxwell and Lena Anderson.

Cremation will take place and visitation will be held at a time to be announced soon.

A private inurnment service will be held at a later date.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.

“And beyond remembering how lights shine brightest in darkness, please remember what is most vital: without the dark to define it, there would be no light at all.

When you can wholeheartedly thank the darkness for its existence and contribution, you will be in glorious lands indeed.

And if you find yourself there, please light a candle for the rest of us, still futilely cursing the darkness, unaware that the war we naively wage is against existence itself.”

“ A free spirit is now truly free at last. ”
