Note of Thanks

H. Archibald Legge

The family of Arch Legge would like to express our thanks and appreciation to all those who showed us love, support, generosity and comfort during this difficult time with the passing of a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

To those who sent flowers, food, cards, memorial gifts, visited the funeral home, made phone calls, left online condolences, planted trees, and other expressions of sympathy, we thank you.

Thank you to the staff of Westmount Estates Retirement Community for looking out for Dad during his stay—he was finally coming out of his shell and participating in exercise class and other events.  A special thank you to Angie Cunning and Joy Boland for watching out for Dad until we arrived on January 21.  Thank you to Robin Macdonald, Brenda Rodway, and Billy Ryan for your help as well.

Thank you to Dr. David Coleman for all you did while Dad was under your care.  Thank you to Dr.’s Kaeton Waghmare and Gregory Brushett for looking after Dad these past couple of years since Dr. Coleman’s retirement.  As well, to the staff of the clinic, thank you.

A special thank you to Reverend Mickton for all that you did during this challenging time.  Your compassion was greatly appreciated.  To the lay minister, Bob Parrill, thank you.  To Uncommon Praise, thank you for the beautiful music during the service.  Dad would have loved it!  Thank you to Terry Parrill for your help and support with picking out the readings for the service.  A special thank you to Sandra Piercey for the beautiful tribute to Dad.  We would also like to thank the urn bearers, Paulette and Lloyd Evans, and the readers, Diane Banks and Meaghan Jones.  Thank you to the ACW of St. Michael’s and All Angels for hosting the reception after the funeral.

Thank you to Fillatre’s Funeral Home for your care, compassion, and professionalism.

Although it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please know that nothing went unnoticed.  Words cannot express how we really feel for the outpouring of support given to us.  Your kindness will always be remembered.  Dad will be forever missed and will live in our hearts forever.
