It is with great sadness that the family of the late Melvin Carberry announce his passing on Sunday, September 15th, 2024 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 81.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 48 years, Sharon; his daughters Lori (Terence) Parsons, Cheryl Gurba (Corey) ; His granddaughters, Claire Parsons, Emma Gurba, Gracie Gurba and his furry buddy, Sam.
Granting his wishes, cremation has taken place. Family and friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Thursday, September 19th from 2:30 - 4:30, followed by a prayer service at 4:30, with Reverend Jocelyn Cook officiating.
His memory will remain in the hearts of his family, friends, and all those who were honoured to have had the privilege of knowing him. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
