It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our mother Peggy Marie (Jesso) Gallant, on December 29th, 2024, at Western Memorial Hospital, Corner Brook, NL at 51 years old.

Many would consider Peggy’s life too short, but those of us who were blessed to be touched by her understand that Peggy’s existence and the imprint she left on our hearts exceed the quantity of time that she stayed here. Not a day went by when Peggy didn't talk about how much her children, grandchildren, and family meant to her. Her grandchildren, Owen (2), Lily (2), and Adelynn (7 Months), were her biggest joys in life.

Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children: Ryan (Keisha) Benoit, Kristie (Stephen) Connolly; sisters: Eileen (Aiden) Jesso, Stella (Terry) Jesso, twin Tracy (Siobhan) Jesso, Dianne (Clifford) Kerfont, Delilah (Charlie) Smith, Sharon (Terry) Tucker, Sheila(Gary) Knight; brothers: Jackie (Michelle) Jesso, Terry (Carolann) Jesso, William (Bruce) Portelance, and Lawrence Jr. Jesso.

Peggy was predeceased by her parents: Priscilla Marie Jesso and Lawrence Joseph Jesso; and brother-in-law: Aiden White.

The family wishes to express sincere gratitude to her caregiver and friend Grace (Edward) Francis, who provided Peggy with unwavering support, love, and comfort over the years. The family would also like to extend a special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff at Western Memorial Hospital and Dr. Charles L. Legrow Health Centre for the kindness, support and care shown during her stay/illnesses.

As per Peggy’s request, there will be no service. Peggy's Facebook page will remain open, and all are welcome to post memories and final words to her there. In Peggy's memory please consider doing an act of kindness or to reach out and help someone in need
