Suzanne Kay Legge of Jeffreys, NL, passed away on January 28th, 2025, and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know and love her. Born on January 26th, 1961, to Austin and Kathleen (nee Gavin) Madore, she was the cherished middle child among nine siblings.
Left to mourn and miss Suzanne are: her devoted husband of 43 years, Wayne Legge; her son Gavin (Melissa); her daughter Heather (Andrew), her grandchildren: Rylyn and Logan, who were her pride and joy; her mother; Kathleen Madore (Clarence Short); her siblings: Vernon (Anne), Wanda, Roy, Monty (Karen), Bruce (Wendy), Dennis (Lois), Rosalind (Pete), Brad (Sharon); sisters-in-law Lavenia (Lionel) Brown, Cavella (Fred) Osmond. Additionally, a large circle of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins, and friends will gather to remember her.
She was predeceased by her father, Austin Madore; parents-in-law Carl and Annie Legge; sisters-in-law Mathilda MacDonald (Nathan), Margaret Felix (Cornelius), Ethel Sheppard (Austin), Delia Butcher (Victor); brothers-in-law George (Geraldine), Isaac (Genevieve), and Edward.
Suzanne was truly the heart of her family. Her love for life and her family was infectious. She had a wonderful laugh and cared deeply for everyone around her.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place, and a service will be held in the summer.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
