Robert Montgomery Cormier

May 12, 1962 – February 3, 2025

 

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Robert Montgomery Cormier announce his passing at his private residence on February 3, 2025, at the age of 62 years.

 

He leaves to mourn his mother, May Cormier; his one and only son whom he dearly loved , Daniel B. in Fort McMurray, AB; his brother Danny (Suzanne) of Kippens, NL; his sister Tanya Payne of Prince George, B.C.; nieces: Darian (Andrew) of Prince George, B.C. and Taylor (Darcy) of Hanna, AB; nephews:  Dillon (Chelsea) of Fort McMurray and Riley of Prince George, B.C.; stepbrothers:  Michael, Francis (Sherry); stepsisters:  Jacinta, Ann, Barbie; Aunts:  Ruby (Joe) Hawkins of Arizona, Joan, Loretta, Paula, Patsy, Brenda, Marie, Violet (John); his favorite cousin Lawson and many other relatives and friends.

 

Robert was pre-deceased by his sister Michelle; stepbrother Stephen; uncle Robert.

 

Robert always loved to be home in Newfoundland.  His passion was riding motorcycles and fishing.

 

Respecting Robert’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation, service and burial to be announced at a later date.

 

Funeral arrangements has been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing, NL.
