It is with heavy hearts that the family of Philomena Doris Clouter announce her passing on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Chancellor Park, St. John’s NL at the age of 90 years.

She will be sadly missed by daughter Marie Clouter of St. John’s, son Ted (Cindy) Clouter of Antigonish, NS; granddaughters:  Sara Reardigan, Leanne Reardigan, Stacy (Eric) Langdon  and Kayla Clouter; sisters: Florence Tucker, Linda Brake, brothers:  Larry Cormier, Terry Cormier. 

She was predeceased by her husband Gilbert Clouter; parents Frank & Frances Cormier; sister Mary Hynes; brothers:  Harold Cormier, Martin Cormier, and Ron Hiscock; granddaughter Julie Reardigan.

Respecting Philomena’s wishes, cremation has taken place. 

Visitation will begin Thursday June 5th, 7-9 p.m at Fillatre's Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing. The  Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, June 6th at 11:00 a.m from  Assumption Parish with Father Edmund Dantes officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery  Brook Street.

As expressions of sympathy donations may be made at your local SPCA.

Her kind, gentle nature and warm loving personality will forever be remembered.

Funeral arrangements has been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing, NL.
