Obituary of Hazel May Green

July 5, 1943 – February 12, 2025

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Hazel May Green announce her passing on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at the Western Long Term Care, Palliative Care Unit at the age of 81 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Ronald, Westmount Estates; daughter Judy (Gerald) Brinston, Edmonton, Alberta; son Ronnie (Glenna) Green, Fort McMurray, Alberta; granddaughter Shayla Brinston, Edmonton, Alberta; brother Raymond (Alice) Compton; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her son Howard Green, parents Arthur and Susanna Compton, sisters Ella, Matilda, Alma, Diane, Jean, Margaret and Susie, brothers Melem, Lindolph, Edward, Leslie and Alonza. Cremation has taken place. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. from Fillatre’s Funeral Chapel, St. Mark’s Avenue with Majors Wilburt and Bertha Abbott officiating. Interment to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Diabetic Association.
