It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gerald Bruce MacDonald announce his passing on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at the Western Long Term Care, Palliative Care Unit at the age of 68 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 50 years Susan (nee Morgan); son Cory (Cindy); grandchildren: Hayley (Gregory), Jayden, Skye and Jonathon; great-grandchild Ryder; brothers and sisters: Robert (Annette), Wanda (Sylvain), Carl (Shirley), Darlene, Karen (Jason) and Bruce (Tammy); brothers and sister-in-law: Wayne (Rhoda), Wanda (David), David (Claudine) and Glen; special niece Ashley; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his daughter Jennifer, parents Gerald and Ruby MacDonald, parents-in-law Frank and Shirley Morgan. A very special thank you to the nurses at the Palliative Care Unit for their care and compassion, also to the Community Health for their many visits to Gerald’s home. Cremation has taken place, there will be no formal funeral service at this time. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
