Obituary of Jimmy Lee Jack

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Jimmy lee Jack announce his passing on February 12^th, 2025, at a private residence in Sheshatshiu, NL, at the age of 39 years.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his common law spouse: Monique Piwas;  children: Laydon Mullen, Talaiya Mullen, Kaianuet Pone and Meshkuss Jack-Piwas; parents: Patrick Penashue and Katie Jack; brothers: Pien Jack, John David Penashue, Alphonse Penashue, Antuan Penashue, Chancellor Ashini, and Malcolm Rich; sisters: Lucy Jack, Uapukun Rich, Pearl Rich, and Paula Rich; grandmother: Philomena Penashue; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Jimmy was predeceased by his brother: Patrick Jack; and grandparents: Philomena Jack, Michel Jack and Antuan Penashue.

A visitation will be held at Fillatres Funeral Home, Happy Valley - Goose Bay, NL, on Sunday, February 16, 2025, from the hours of 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

The funeral service will be held at the Roman Catholic Church in Sheshatshiu, NL at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 18th, 2025, with Father Boniface officiating. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Sheshatshiu, NL.
