Obituary of Cajetanus Rich

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Cajetanus Rich announce his passing on February 17^th, 2025, at his private residence in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL at the age of 68 years.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife: Justine Rich; children: Martine Nui, Irene Rich, Lloyd Rich, Anna Nui, Charlotte Nui and Ruby Poker; brothers: Gregory Rich and Hank Rich; sister: Joyce Rich; grandchildren: David M, Elijah, Destiny, John David, Jophiel, Paul, Alice, Angel, Leon, Michael, Garfield, River, Shayna, Leonna, Ryder, Latifah, Giselle, Kobe, Fantashia, Troy, Lana, Debbie and Starlight; as well as a number of great grandchildren, extended relatives and friends.

Cajetanus was predeceased by his parents: Leon and Angela Rich; son: Leon David Rich; grandson: Wiliam Rich; brothers: Penute Rich and Thaddeus Rich; sisters: Theresa Michelin, Stella Rich, Jacqueline Rich, and Madeline Rich.

Visitations will be held at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL on Thursday, February 20^th, 2025, from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 7:00 – 9:00 pm.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22^nd, 2025, at 11:00 am from the Roman Catholic Church, Natuashish, NL. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Natuashish, NL.
