Beulah Jean Skinner

October 22,1945- February 19, 2025

St. George’s, NL

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jean Skinner after a brief but courageous battle with cancer.

Leaving to mourn are her husband Kevin, daughter Michelle (Tony) and son Jamie. Her precious grandchildren Phoebe, Adam, Spencer and Jacob. Her siblings Ross (Beryle), Wendell (Cora), Ronald (Jocelyn), Roy (Betty), Marilyn, Iris (Tom), Danny (Mary) Glenda (Rick). Her in-laws who were her family Will, Loretta, Josephene (Fred), Elizabeth (Arthur), Katheleen (Ed), Howard, Marion (Al), Rosetta (Greg), Jackie (Shelley), Judy (Bernie), Karen (Adrian) along with a large circle of nieces, nephews. cousins, colleagues and friends.

She was predeceased by her beautiful young son Shawn, her parents Max and Beulah Butt her mother and father in-law John and Evelyn Skinner, her sister Ina Mahu, brother and sister-in-law William and Elaine Skinner and brother-in -law Reginald Howell.

Jean was a teacher by profession, but her influence extended to how she lived her life.  She was a shining example of a good person she was kind, caring, generous and strong. She will be forever missed.

Respecting Buelah’s wishes, cremation has taken place.

Visitation on Monday, February 24, 2025, from 2:00 p.m.  - 4:00 p.m. & 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Anglican Church, St. George’s where the Church service will take place on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 @ 11:00 a.m.
