Bernice Winifred Rowsell

June 19, 1932 - February 19, 2025

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Bernice Winifred Rowsell announce her passing on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at Western Memorial Hospital, PCU at the age of 92 years.

She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Stella (Robert) Wells, Brian (Annette) Rowsell and Todd Rowsell; grandchildren: Lori, Robyn (Tyler); Tara (Brandon) and Scott (Avery); Great-Grandchildren: Jared, Sloan, Levi and Remy; sister Julia (Ralph) Morey and sister-in-law Marjorie Rowsell, as well as nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her husband Stephen Gerald (Gerry), son Gerald (Junior), daughter Katherine, parents Almond and Jane Barnes, sisters: Doris (George) King, Geraldine (Gord) Butt and Regina.

A special thank you to all the nurses and staff at the 5^th Floor (D) Section of Western Memorial Regional Hospital. To Dr. Lafferty and the nurses and staff at the Palliative Care Unit, thank you “All of you are Angels.”

Respecting Mom’s wishes cremation has taken place. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place on her birthday, June 19^th, 2025 at 10:30 am from Sacred Heart Church followed by the interment at Mount Cecilia Cemetery.
