January 31, 1945 - February 27, 2025

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Violet Billard announce her passing at her home with her family by her side on February 27, 2025 at the age of 80 years.

Leaving to mourn her sons,  Norman (Bonnie), Daniel (Lori Lynn), Lorne (Karen), Trevor (Grace), her special niece Tina (Kim) who was more like a daughter to her as she helped raise her from birth; her special sister and best friend Alice, who have lived with Violet for most of her life and was a great support to her and the family in her time of illness for which the family will always be grateful.

Her siblings George (Shirley), Albert, Gord (Ruth), Wanice (Percy), Norman (Angela), Sylvia (Derek), her many grandchildren and great grandchildren, sisters and brothers in law, nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

Predeceased by her husband Llewellyn, son Archie, parents Albert and Louise Parsons, sister Mary (Sidney), brothers Reginald and Robert.

Visitation will take place at Faith United church Burgeo,NL on Saturday March 1 from 2-4 and Sunday March 2 from 2-4. Funeral service will be held on Monday March 3 at 11 am at Faith United church with Rev Matchem officiating.

The family would like to express their deepest thank you to Dr Samak, Dr Bruff, Darlene Strickland, Danielle Hare, Burgeo ambulance service, Doctors,  Nurses and staff at CHCC and WMRH for all the care she have received in her time of illness. Your kindness will never be forgotten. God bless you all.
