Obituary of Harvey Edward Pottle

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Harvey Edward Pottle announce his passing on March 3^rd, 2025, at the Labrador Health Centre, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL at the age of 69 years.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his children: Jemima Pottle (Kevin Pottle), Cynthia Pottle (Michael Blake), Peter Pottle (Dina Wolfrey-Pottle) and Kerry Pottle (Chesley Sheppard); grandchildren: Ocean Pottle-Shiwak, Clear Blake-Pottle, River Blake-Pottle, Peyton Pottle, and Joseph Pottle; step grandchildren: CJ Andrew, Melcom Andrew and Lucy Sheppard; sisters: Jane Shiwak (Jack Shiwak) and Ruth Pottle (Levi Wolfrey); as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Harvey was predeceased by his parents: Kenneth and Susan Pottle; sons: Joseph and Hubert Pottle; and sisters: Anita Pottle and Rhoda Williams.

The funeral service will be held at St. Timothy’s Anglican Church, Rigolet, NL. Date and time to be announced in the coming days.

The family would like to send special thanks to Ethel Campbell, Millie Pardy, Shelly Wolfrey, Margaret Harris, and all the nurses and staff that looked after Harvey during his illness.
