Daisy Claudine Brown
April 9, 1932 – March 6, 2025

It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Daisy Claudine Brown announce her passing at the Bonne Bay Health Centre on March 6, 2025, at the age of 92 years. Daisy was known as the last person remaining who once resided at Belldown’s Point.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, her children Greavett (Beatrice), Juanita (Jim), and Seymour; grandchildren Deon (Jennine), Jeffrey (Mary), Jamie (Vanessa), Stacy (Girlyn), Trent (Lisa), Jimmy, Grant (Deanna); great grandchildren Cordell (Lilly), Alex (Jessica), Joey (Karley), Cole, Jasmine, Damian, Selina, Haley, Isabella, Breanna (Tyler), Braden, Katie, Logan, and Kaleb; great-great grandchildren Cohen, Paradise, Gianna, and Ella; and brother Maurice Brown (Shirley); Also leaving to mourn, a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended family, and friends.

Daisy was predeceased by her husband Simon; great-grandsons Blair and Justin; parents Elizabeth and Austin Brown; sister Edna Payne (Dave); parents-in-law Martha and Archibald Brown; sisters-in-law Annie (Carl), Mae (Aubrey), and Rosie (Melvin); and brother-in-law Edgar (Eura).

The family would like to say thank you to Daisy’s homecare workers and all of the staff at the Bonne Bay Health Centre for their care and compassion.

A visitation will take place for family and friends at St. Mary the Virgin Anglican Church, Cow Head on Saturday, March 8^th  and Sunday, March 9^th from the hours of 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. The funeral service will be held on Monday, March 10^th at 2:00 pm with Rev. Terry Rose officiating. An interment will follow at the Anglican Cemetery.
