It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness we announce the passing of Donald Spencer, age 70, on March 6, 2025 at the Longterm Care, Calder Health Care Centre in Burgeo, NL.
Donald leaves to mourn his sister Dorothy, brother Calvin (Jeanette), brother in-law Chesley, and sister in-law Denise. His niece’s Trudy (Collin), April (Derek), and Caitlin (Andrew), nephew Sheldon (Allison) and his great nephews Joshua and Rylan and his great niece Raya. He also leaves behind his special aunt and uncle Doris and Gerald and a large circle of aunts and uncles and extended family.
Donald will be eternally reunited with his parents Simeon and Annie May Spencer, siblings Bernard, Mildred, Roy, and Mary and sister in-law Sharon. Donald was born on November 4, 1954. His family was his world. As per Donald’s wishes cremation has taken place in the trust to Fillatre’s Funeral Home. A service will take place at a later date.
