It is with great sadness that the family of the late Michael Bird announce his passing on March 7th, 2025, at the Labrador Health Centre, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, at the age of 67 years.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his daughter: Jenine Rowe; sisters: Marion Kenny & special sister Arlene Bird; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Michael is predeceased by his parents: Valencia & Robert Bird; brother: Lewis Bird; and sister: Jean Wells.

Friends and family may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Happy Valley-Goose Bay on Sunday, March 9th from the hours of 7:00pm-9:00pm. The funeral service will be held on Monday, March 10th from St. Andrew’s Anglican Church, Happy Valley-Goose Bay starting at 2:00pm, with Rev. Nellie Thomas officiating. Internment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Michael Bird Memorial.
