Elliott Arthur Upwards
March 15, 1947 – March 11, 2025

It is with heavy hearts and many fond memories that the family of Elliott Arthur Upwards announce his passing at Bonne Bay Health Centre, Norris Point, NL at the age of 77 years.

Leaving to mourn his wife Lucy (nee Parsons); daughter Lisa (Darren); grandchildren Jake Smith, Samantha Smith, and Gabrielle Chevalier; sisters Phyllis Duval and Sandra Upwards (Gilbert); his in-laws George (Sandra) Parsons, Sam (Debra) Parsons, Wanda Brake, Ruby (John) Anderson, Robert (Tatiana) Parsons, Laura (Chris) Martin, and Roxy Upwards; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Elliott is predeceased by his son Jason; parents George and Margaret; brother Terry, father and mother in-law Noble and Valsie; brothers-in-law Don Brake and Cecil Duval.

Elliott was a man of few words. He had a huge heart and would take the shirt off his back to help anyone in need. He was a carpenter that took him away from home in the earlier years. After retirement Elliott devoted his time with Lucy doing what they loved. They spent many years camping at Lomond with family and friends, tending to his beloved green houses, planting vegetables, hunting, and fishing.

As per Elliott’s request cremation will take place and there will be no funeral service.
