It is with great sadness that the family of the late Theresa Loretta Park announce her passing on Friday, March 14, 2025 at the Western Long Term Care, Palliative Care Unit in Corner Brook at the age of 82 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughter Alma (Bob) Joyce; son Brad (Charlotte) Park; grandchildren: Wilhelmina, Linda and Jalisa (Justin); great-grandchildren: Dawn (Regan), Dominick, Jesse, Justine and Jody; sisters: Sadie (Garfield) Parsons and Emma Park; brothers: Austin (Linda) Park and John (Mae) Park; sisters-in-law Ada Park and Elsie Park; special friend Joyce Roberts; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Murdoch and Nora Park, grandson-in-law Rod Fewer, sister Goldie (Max) Parsons, brothers Phillip Park and Elwin Park. A special thank you to all Theresa’s homecare workers over the years and a very special thank you to Dr. Al-Gherbali, Dr. Lafferty, all the nurses and staff of 5D and the Palliative Care Unit for your care and compassion. Visitation will be held at St. Nicholas Anglican Church in Cox’s Cove on Saturday & Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 PM from where the funerals service will be held on Monday, March 17 at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Terry Loder officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
