Julie, John and I were so sorry to hear of your sister’s passing, I know how close you both were. The loss of a sibling is devastating but may the memories of a lifetime help you through this difficult time. I did not know Gladys well but do know that she was well thought of in our community. I often purchased her baked goods (especially the delicious cinnamon rolls). Our sincere condolences.

I am so sad to hear about your Mom. I have great memories of her. Years ago, the staff at Scotiabank used to order baked goods from Gladys. I met Gladys when she was working with Weight Watchers..I also joined WW’s staff through her inspiration.She was a diligent worker..As a leader she encouraged the members through lectures and funny sayings and jokes to stick with their goal.We had wonderful adventures and laughs, along with the other staff members ,on our training and conference trips to St.John’s .Our monthly staff gatherings at one or the other’s homes were not only learning sessions but so much fun and laughter..We made lasting friendships.
We continued to be in touch after we finished with WW. Through family gatherings and our Rummoli games ( along with Bev ) .And of course buying and enjoying your wonderful baking and knitting.
You will be so missed my dear friend but live on in my wonderful memories and heart..❤️ Judy.

My sincere condolences to all of Gladys 's family. I had the privilege of knowing Gladys when I was transferred with the R.C.M.P..to Corner Brook in 1975.and worked out of the Sub. Divn. Building until 1980. Gladys was with h the Admin. Section. She was always friendly and approachable and went out of her way to help us young Constables if we needed assistance with administrative matters.
