It is with great sadness that the family of the late Isabel Parsons announce her passing on Thursday, March 20^th, 2025 at the Health Science Centre, St.John’s at the age of 79 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, daughter Vicki Hogan (Craig); sons Greg Parsons (Loretta) and Jason Parsons (Ashley); granddaughters Chrissy Petiot (Dean), Taylor Holmes (Morgan) and Tamera Hogan (Evan); grandson Sean McCarthy and special grandson Mason Parsons; great grandsons Austin, Cameron and Riggs; sisters, Jean Babstock, Margaret Gillard (Robert), Vera O’Keefe (Cyril); brothers Harold Stokes (Myra), Lorne Stokes (Sharon); sisters-in-law Viola Gallant, Yvonne Jesso (Walter), Mary Jesso, Ruby Parsons; brothers-in-law George Parsons (Trudy), Gerald Parsons (Beatrice) and Jack Wheeler; special friend Isabel C. Parsons; as well as a very large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

She is predeceased by her husband Harvey Parsons; parents Hubert and May Stokes, parents-in-law Henry and Ellen Parsons, daughter-in-law Nancy Parsons, sisters Shirley Ford (John), Barbara Myles (George); sister-in-law Margarette Wheeler; brothers-in-law Chesley House, Carl Babstock, Ron Parsons and Joe Gallant.

Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Monday, March 24^th from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 25^th at 2:00 p.m. from St. Ambrose Anglican Church, John’s Beach with Reverend Effie Organ officiating. The interment will follow at the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Ambrose Anglican Church, John’s Beach.
