Obituary of Wallace Graham Campbell

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Wallace Campbell on March 21, 2025, at the age of 86. Wallace was a loving and caring family man, known for his generosity, positive spirit, and deep love for those around him. An incredible hunter, trapper, and fisherman, he spent much of his life in the great outdoors, especially cherishing his time fishing in Square Islands, where he created many lasting memories with family and friends.
Wallace was predeceased by his mother, Sarah Rumbolt; brothers Lindsay Cadwell, Thomas Cadwell, and Manual Cadwell; sisters Mildred Cadwell and Mary Cadwell; sister-in-law Betty Cadwell; brother-in-law Robert Glover; and son-in-law Alexander Turnbull JR.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his devoted wife, Rita, and his children: Mary (Alyvone), Pearl, Phyllis (Sterling), John (Linda), Aubrey (Victoria), Stephen, Charl, and brother Lewis Cadwell (Ruth), sisters Louise Russell (George), and Daisy Glover. He will also be deeply missed by his grandchildren: Anthony (Jody), Andy, Sterling (Melissa), Amanda (Damien), Wallace (Andrea), Jonathan (Taylor), Jordi, Hayley, Misty (Evan), Ryan, and Ryder, and his great-grandchildren: Kevin, Westin, Zander, Jaxen, Annalise, Layla, Octavia, Oaklann, Jersey and Junaita.
Family and friends may visit at Calvary Temple, Charlottetown on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, from 2:00–4:00 PM and 7:00–9:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at Calvary Temple, Charlottetown, on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at 2:00 PM, with Pastor Elaine M. Rideout officiating. Interment will follow at Calvary Temple Pentecostal Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations in Wallace’s memory may be made to the Calvary Temple Cemetery Improvement Fund.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of the Labrador Health Centre and Long-term Care Home, Pastor Elaine, and all those who visited or offered their support during this time.
The family will always cherish the love and kindness Wallace shared and find comfort in the memories he leaves behind.
