Obituary of David Michael Barron

It is with great sadness that the family of the late David Michael Barron announce his passing on March 22^nd, 2025, in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL at the age of 75 years.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his children: Roxanne (Kevin), Edward James and David; grandchildren: Alysiah-Lynn, Isaiah (Breanna), Sarah Jean, Edward, Taylor and David; aunt: Mary Barron; brothers: Jerry, Gus (Didi), Wayne (Linda), Butch, Brent (Tammy), Ronnie (Marlene) and Glenn; sisters: Wanda MacDougall, Linda (Wilf) Schauermann, June Barron and Karen Barron (Grahem); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

David was predeceased by his wife: Claris; parents: Frank and Laura Barron; brother: Eric Barron; sister: Loretta Barron; and granddaughter: August Angel.

Friends and family may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL on Thursday, March 27^th, 2025, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 7:00 – 9:00 pm; and Friday, March 28^th, 2025, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 7:00 – 9:00 pm.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 29^th, 2025, from Our Lady Queen of Peace church, starting at 1:00 pm with Father Boniface officiating.

As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

The family would like to offer their sincere thanks to the Knights of Columbus, Lori Ann Burton and all family and friends for the food and support.
