Robert Ralph Morris
September 29, 1963 – March 26, 2025
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Robert Ralph Morris announce his passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville on Wednesday, March 26, 2025.
Robert (Bobby) was a volunteer fireman at the Bay St. George South Fire Department for several years. He served on Vestry of St. George’s Anglican Church, Robinsons, and was willing to help in any capacity, from ringing the church bell to selling tickets for fundraisers. He loved moose hunting, rabbit catching, trouting, and fishing for a living in years past. He loved raising animals such as pigs and turkeys, which he had done for a number of years.
Bobby was predeceased by his wife, Lillian, whom he had lost only nine months ago; parents William and Anna Morris; grandparents, Ralph and Ada Morris and Frank and Marian Morris; and sisters, Michelle Morris and Joan Morris.
Left to mourn are his uncle Francis Morris (Roxanne); cousin Mitchell Morris; nephew Christopher Morris (Sheryl); niece Jackie Rodgers (Matthew); great nephews, Eldon and William, and as well a number of aunts and uncles, cousins, and friends.
Cremation has taken place. Reverend Norman Cutler will conduct a graveside service and inurnment at Robinsons Anglican Cemetery, on Saturday, March 29, 2025 @ 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family during this difficult time.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing.
