Denyse Smith Hobbs

March 5, 1949 – March 27, 2025

Blanc Sablon, Quebec

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Denyse Smith Hobbs, a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished grandmother, who left us on March 27^th 2025, at the age of 76 years old. She passed suddenly but peacefully at her home in Lourdes-de-Blanc-Sablon, QC.

Denyse will always be lovingly remembered and will be greatly missed by her husband George; her siblings Marie-anne († Felix) and Cecil (Colette); her sons Faron (Joanne) and Jeffrey (Gail); her grandchildren Samantha (David), Dillon and Julianna; her great-grandchildren Holly and Harper, as well as her nieces, nephews, other relatives and her many many good friends.

She was predeceased by her parents Benjamin and Josephine, her brother Jean (Leontine) and her grandson Sylvain. 

Friends and family may visit today, Friday March 28^th, between 9 AM to 7PM at the funeral home at the Notre Dame de Lourdes Church. She will be cremated following her viewing, in accordance with her wishes. A funeral service to celebrate Denyse’s life will be held in the summer of 2025, with the exact date to be determined.
