It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rhoda Ereaut (formally Roberts), Aged 78, of Burgeo, Newfoundland, unexpectedly passed away on March 28th, 2025 at her home in Burgeo.

Rhoda is survived and left to mourn by her 3 Children: Kenny (Irene), Sandra (Frank), and Linda (Max), all of Burgeo, Newfoundland. She also leaves to mourn her 4 grandchildren: Allison (Tyler), Christopher (Heidi), MacKenzie, and Kendra, as well as the 3 lights of her life, her 2 great-grand daughters, Maria and Presley, and great-grand son, Noah. She also leaves to mourn sister Lauretta Roberts, Sister in law Louise Swift, Brother in law George Ereaut (Loureen), as well as special lifelong friend, Joyce Billard.

Rhoda is predeceased in death by husband John W. Ereaut, granddaughter Baby Taylor, parents Kenneth and Alice Roberts, brothers James and Kenneth Roy, in-laws Gladys and John C Ereaut, predeceased also by brothers in law; Cecil Ereaut, Gerald Coley, and Tony Swift; sisters in law Geraldine Roberts, Rose Coley, and Evelyn Ereaut.

Funeral service will be held at The Faith United Church on Wednesday, April 2nd, 2025 at 4:00 P.M. with Reverend Oake officiating. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Rhoda’s home, Saturday to Monday from 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm.
