It is with great sadness that the family of the late Alma McEachren announce her passing at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre, Stephenville Crossing, on April 1, 2025, at the age of 92 years.

She leaves to mourn her children:  Basil, Brenda (Ronald), Jerry (Anita), Diana (Doug); grandchildren:  Jonathan, Gloria, Amanda & Tyler, Carmen, Dayna, Garret, Duncan, many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

Alma was predeceased by her parents Martha & John Hillard; her husband Reginald McEachren; son Frank, granddaughter Cathy and daughter-in-law Bridget.

Alma loved to knit, crochet, play cards and bingo. She was very much a go-getter and loved to go places.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of Crosswinds where she stayed for eight years and to the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre where she spent her final days.

Church service at St. Mary Magdalene Anglican in Jeffrey’s on Friday, April 4, 2025 @ 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Norman Cutler officiating.

Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing, NL.
