McKay’s, NL

 

It is with great sadness that the family of Adam Gillam announced his passing on Thursday, April 3rd, 2025, at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville, at the age of 51 years.

 

Adam enjoyed life outdoors hunting, fishing and camping with friends and family. He loved going into his cabin on camp 180. He was also a member of the Bay St. George South Volunteer Fire Department for 7 years and loved helping out in the community any way he could. 

 

Adam leaves to mourn with so many fond memories; his wife Nicole Hulan; mother Lucy Gillam; son Brandon Gillam; step daughter Jessica Renouf (Gregory Madore) and Caitlin Renouf; grandchildren: Gracie-Rae Renouf and Wesley Madore; brothers: Winston (Melissa) Gillam, Victor (Diane) Gillam, Patrick (Sandra) Gillam; sisters:

Nancy (Jarvis) Barry and Trudy Gillam; nephew Jake (Krista) Gillam, whom he thought of as a brother, and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. 

 

He was predeceased by his father Alonzo Gillam.

 

Donations can be made to the Bay St. George South Volunteer Fire Department. 

 

A Service of Remembrance will be held in the Summer of 2025.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing, NL.
