Obituary of Raymond Foote
Please share a memory of Raymond to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with tremendous sadness that the family of the late Raymond Foote announces his passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at the age of 69 years. He passed peacefully with his daughter Megan by his side, and surrounded by family.
Leaving to mourn, daughter Megan, brothers Dave (Melita), Bruce (Cynthia), sisters Linda (Clayton), Ethel, June (Max), a large circle of nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, many other extended family members and a very close circle of friends and neighbours.
Predeceased by parents, Ronald and Louise Foote, wife Beverly Ann, son Wade, nephews Vaughan and Danny and brother-in-law John.
Ray has mourned the loss of his wife and son immensely and has poured his love and pride into his daughter Megan. With her he has had the joy of travelling the world, visiting Europe, Southeast Asia and the Middle East in recent years. Megan will be spreading some of his ashes on an upcoming trip they had planned together in Central America, the remainder will be buried next to his wife, Beverly Ann and son, Wade.
Ray lived his entire life in Burgeo and was loved by everyone that knew him. His job took him to the homes of everyone in town and he was known for going out of his way to help those in need. He cherished Saturday evenings with his brother Bruce and their friends playing cards and “having a few laughs”.
His funeral will be held at 3 pm on Sunday, April 6, 2025 at St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church in Burgeo.
