Iris Marion White nee Martin

August 19, 1943 – March 6, 2025

Stephenville, NL

 

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Iris Marion White announce her passing on Sunday, April 6, 2025, after a battle with cancer, at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, at the age of 81 years.

 

She is survived by and leaves to mourn; her children:  Perry (Carolyn) White, Sherry (Joseph) Allport, Clark (Josephine) White, Paula White, Tanya (Brian) MacCallum, Sean (Vanessa) White; 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

 

She was predeceased by her mother Edith Martin.

 

The family would like to give a special thank you to her caregivers Jonathan and Miranda; a sincere thank you to the staff of Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital.

 

Respecting Iris’ wishes, cremation has taken place.

 

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing, NL.
