It is with great sadness that the family of the late Samuel (Junior) Burden announce his passing on Sunday, April 6th, 2025. At the Forteau Long Term Care Center, at the age of 78 years old.

He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his sons Todd Burden, Lester Burden. Daughter Vanessa Burden. His grandchildren: Devon, Valarie, Kyle, Ava and Evan. Along with his large circle of nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents Samuel and Mary Burden along with his siblings: Elva Turnbull (Sister), Sarah Penney (Sister), Ambrose Burden (Brother), Solomon Burden (Brother), Donald Burden (Brother), and Eliza Russell (Sister).

Visitation will take place on Wednesday April 9th, 2025, at the Port Hope Simpson Pentecostal Church (time to be determined).

The funeral service will be held on Thursday April 10th, 2025, at 2:00 PM.

On behalf of the family, we would like to thank the staff of the Long Term Care, Forteau and everybody involved in the care of our father (Samuel Burden) for your dedication, it hasn’t gone unrecognized and unappreciated.
