Delores (Lully) Rita Allen

With great sadness, the family of Delores (Lully) Rita Allen, wish to announce she passed away peacefully surrounded by family on April 10th.  Lully is survived by her husband Derek, son Chad (Trina) and their children Summer, Jaedon and Taylor, sisters Maureen (Don) McCarthy, her special niece Wanda Murley, best friend Imelda Welshman as well as her many nieces, nephews and friends.

Lully is predeceased by her parents, Bridgett and Frederick Cammie, her sister Mary Hynes and brother-in-law Albert Hynes; sister Joyce Companion and brother-in law Ken Companion and brother Daniel Cammie.

Lully was fiercely devoted to her family as a loving wife for over 53 years and selfless mother and grandmother providing endless love, support and guidance. 

Lully loved spending time at the cabin with Derek, where they took endless walks along the beach collecting rocks, watching sunsets, late night fires and listening to the ocean.  She had a tremendous zest for life, a love of food and was always ready to dance the night away with her husband and friends.

Lully has left us with the incredible inspiration of how to live which is focusing always on the simple concepts of life - good food and the love of family. 

We will miss you.

The family will receive friends from 1-3pm on Saturday, April 12th at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street, followed immediately by a service at 3pm and burial.  Cremation has taken place.

As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
