It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Pierrette Dumas Hobbs on April 17, 2025, at the age of 76.

Pierrette was predeceased by her beloved husband, Thomas Hobbs, and her cherished daughter, Marlene. She leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness through her children:
Daniel (Ada), Karen, and Bobby (Jackie). Her spirit lives on in her grandchildren Barry James (Hailey), Jenna (Jean Sebastien), Matthew (Brianna), and Allie, and in her great-grandchildren, James and Jack.

Pierrette was deeply loved by all who knew her. She was never without a smile and brought light into every room she entered. Her love for music was something she shared with everyone-always dancing with anyone who would join her, spreading joy with every step.

She will be remembered not only for her warmth and laughter but for the way she brought people together through joy, resilience, and harmony.

A funeral service will be held on April 19 at 2:00 p.m. from the Roman Catholic Church, Blanc Sablon.

She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
