Obituary of Zita Pamela Ann Rumbolt

July 18, 1988 - April 23, 2025

It is with utmost sadness that the family of the late Zita Pamela Ann Rumbolt  announce her passing on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, at the age of 36, surrounded by her devoted and loving family. 

It was during the early hours of the morning when our beautiful Zita gained her wings.  The family are left with a huge void.  Everyone loved her that knew her, she touched so many lives.  A silent thought, a secret tear will keep her beautiful memory alive.  She rests in our hearts forever.

She leaves to mourn Mother Lucy, Dad Lewis, Sister-in-law Jo-anne, Aunt Pam - known as Zita's second mom, special sisters Alexa, Shelby and Julia.  Grandfather John (Eudora), Grandmother Nora, Aunts:  Sheena (Stan), Sandra (Michael), Melita (Tony), Pam (Sheldon), Uncles: Gerald, Finton (Marie), Aunts:  Audrey (Ben), Sheila, Maxine (Brian), Christine (Prim), Rowena, (Craig), Uncle Warren (Millie), Aunt Selma, Godchild Alyssa Myers, special aunts Becky, Shannon Maisie, Susie and Nora, large circle of extended family and friends especially her Bird Cove special needs group and a large group of friends from her happy place:  Max Simms Camp.

Zita is predeceased by brother Preston, Grandfather Isaac, Grandmother Dorothy, Aunt Clara, Uncles Aloysius and Bill, Cousin Octavia and special friends Owen and Cammy.

Visitation:  Friday, April 25, 2025, 7pm - 9pm @ Our Lady of Angels Roman Catholic Church in Castor River South, NL

 Visitation:  Saturday, April 26, 2025, 2pm - 4pm, 7pm - 9pm /  family service  @ 8:15pm

Cremation will take place, as per her wishes.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2025 @ 2pm with Father Jaison officiating.

Interment to follow at the New Ferolle Cemetery, NL
