 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Valetta Parsons announce her passing at the Western  Long Term Care Home, Corner Brook, NL on Saturday, May 3rd at the age of 88 years.

She leaves to mourn her daughter Val Parsons, grandson Luke Dunphy, granddaughter Megan Dunphy and four great-grandchildren; she was loved and cherished by many other brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews,cousins and friends.

Valetta is predeceased by her parents Lawrence and Angela Gabriel; husband Carson and by her son Craig.

The Funeral Mass will take place at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, St.George's on Wednesday, May 7th at 11:30 am with Father Edmund Dantes officiating with interment to follow in the  Anglican Section of the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery, Stephenville.

 As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Joseph's Church Memorial Fund.

 Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre's Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing.
