Obituary of Amanda Karen Saunders
Please share a memory of Amanda to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with profound sadness that the family of the late Amanda Karen Saunders announce her passing on May 4th, 2025, at the Labrador Health Centre, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, at the age of 42 years.
Amanda, the most beautiful, kind, humble, caring, FUNNY person you could ever have the pleasure to meet. She truly cared about everyone! Whether you knew her for 10 minutes or 10 years. She wore her heart on her sleeve. She could have heart to heart, caring conversations with strangers! You could tell she truly felt their struggles and she truly cared about what that person was saying and feeling. She’d walk away truly touched and affected by how that person was feeling. She felt their pain.
“You are my sunshine” was her and Pepa’s song. It is truly fitting! She was sunshine. She was light in this crazy world. The lives she touched will feel a little darker now.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her husband: Kirby; children: Jaxon and Jonas; mother: Laverne Adams; sister: Laura Adams (Gerry), Chandler, Alexis; father and mother-in-law: Ez and Viann Saunders; sisters in law: Tonya and Wendy; and aunt: Gail Pitt; as well as many other extended family and friends.
Amanda was predeceased by her father: George Adams; grandparents: Papa and Mamma Michelin and Pop and Nan Adams; uncles: Lloyd and Gene Michelin.
