Lewis (Lou) Harold Pitcher
March 19, 1931 – May 4, 2025
It is with great sadness that the family of Lewis (Lou) Harold Pitcher announces his passing on Sunday May 4, 2025, at the WMRH Palliative Care Unit in Corner Brook at age 94.
He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his daughters Susan Roue (Paul) and Paula (Gord) Macwhirter and son Chris (Christine Malloy). Four grandchildren Cheryl, Richard, Joshua and Marc. Four great grandchildren Mackenzie, Mason, Emma and Margo. Sister-in-law Mary Slade, family friend Lynnette Taylor and Furry Friend Lola, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends.
Predeceased by his wife, Emma, daughter Beverley, his parents Florence and Harold, brothers Harvey, John, Gord and sister Marjorie.
As per his wishes, cremation has taken place. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home 218 Curling St, on Wednesday May 7th from 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm. Funeral service will be held on Thursday May 8th at 2pm at St. Mary Virgin Anglican Church in Curling. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery following the service.
