Please share a memory of James to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

June 26, 1934 - May 25, 2025

It is with profound sadness that the family of the late James Augustus Plowman announce his passing at the Rufus Guinchard Health Care Centre on Sunday, May 25, 2025 at the age of 90.  He was surrounded by his loving family during these last moments when God called him home.

Our dearly loved "Jimmy" was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great - grandfather and treasured friend whose warmth, wisdom and unwavering love, leaves an enduring legacy in the hearts to all who knew him.

James  leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Alma of 54 years (They would have been together 60 years in July); daughters:  Doreen, Carleen (Tony), Maxine (Stephen)  and son George (Pam);  daughter-in-law Helena; 11 grandchildren:  Brook (Gina), Bryan (Gizelle), Jerome (Chelsey), Sherry (Chris), Kristina (Chris), Shelley (Byron), Evan, Amber (Chris), Billie (Richie), Georgie (Courtney) and Beau; 13 great - grandchildren:  Harlee, Jasmine, Ben, Hanna, Willow, William, Ember, Gracelynn, Scarlett, Jaxon, Brielle, Clay and Lane; bonus 2 great - grandchildren;  Marlee and Marshall;  brother - in - law Cliff (Elsie); sister - in- laws:  Dolly, Joyce and Barb; his church family and friends.

James was known for his trust in the Lord and a regular church attendee.  He was a hard worker, with selfless dedication, striving to provide for his family, worked in the woods clearing trees and spent time on the water fishing. His love for family showed, always with a smile and  an unwavering commitment.  James or "Jimmy" to some enjoyed life, remaining  active in later years by walking each day. He was an advid collector of recyclables from the years 1986 - 2023. It was his way of giving back to the community showing pride for his hometown.

He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him - especially by his devoted wife, Alma His passing leaves a profound void in our lives, one that can never be filled.

Predeceased by:  son Augustus; parents Henry and Mary Plowman; siblings:  Dora, Maude, Carrie, Kate, Maxine, William, Wallace and Jerome; parents-in-law Harry and Caroline Budgell; brothers-in-law:  Abe, Albert, Duke, John, Randolph, Allen and Dave; beloved sister-in- law Patsy, special nephew John Atkins and son-in-law Ben Gould.
