It is with great sadness that the family of the late Irene McLean announce her passing on June 3rd, 2025, at the Labrador Health Centre in Happy Valley-Goose Bay at the age of 66 years.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her Children: Christine McLean (Wilson Hillier), & Kim Spurrell; Granddaughter: Ashley McLean (Matthew); Great-Grandchildren: Hallie-Rose & Nixon; Brother: Clayton McLean (Winnie); and Sisters: Shirley McLean & Joyce Wall (Kevin).  As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends; and the residents and staff of Long Term Care, Labrador Health Centre.

Irene is predeceased by her Parents: Roy & Eva McLean; Brothers: Ian, Garnet, Wilson, Clarence “Nicky”, Timmy, Clifford, & Herman; and Sister: Rosemary.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 14th beginning at 2:00pm from the United Church in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, with Rev. Nellie Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in the United Church Cemetery.
