It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jocelyn Bellows, who left us peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, June 14^th, 2025 at the age of 71 years.

Jocelyn is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband Darren Bellows; her cherished daughters; Kelly Thickett (Jason) and Carolyn Davies (Scott) and her adored grandchildren, Parker and Ashley Davies.

She will be deeply missed by her dear sisters Geraldine Parsons (Calvin) and Kim England (Brent), and her brother Jerry Griffin (Linda); Jocelyn had a large circle of neices and nephews; and had a love and special bond especially with her great neices and nephews; Nevaeh, Griffin, Kylee, Brady, Madison, Abigail, Brooklynn, Peyton, Paisley, Hayden, Emma, and Elliott. As well as a large circle of other nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Jocelyn was predeceased by her parents Geremiah and Muriel Griffin, her grandparents Eric and Lucy Butt, and her beloved sisters Rosalyn Elmy and Genevieve Griffin.

A woman of quiet strength and deep love, Jocelyn’s legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew her. She was the most loving and dependable person — someone who always took the time to listen and be there for anyone in need. She deeply loved her parents and cherished family get-togethers, especially the magic of Christmas. Her compassion, warmth, and unwavering presence will be missed beyond words.

Friends and family may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Monday, June 16^th from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17^th at 11 Am from Westside Tabernacle, Elizabeth Street with Pastor Terry Grimes officiating. Cremation to follow the funeral service.  Inurnment of ashes will be held on Wednesday, June 18^th at 11 Am at the family plot, Mt. Patricia Cemetery.
