On behalf of the family of Eileen Gosse, we would like to express our thanks to everyone for their condolences, visitations, donations
to the special olympics, cards, and food. Your support has meant a lot to us through our time of grief. Thank you to Fillatres and Aromas for their kindess and professionalisim.

Eileen Mary (nee Renouf) Gosse
October 6th, 1928 – June 23rd, 2025
It is with sad hearts that the family announce the passing of Eileen Gosse, at Balsamview House, Western Long Term Care, Corner Brook, at the age of 96.
Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children, Wanda (Edwin) Parsons, Junior (Judy) Gosse, Alfred Gosse, and Cheryl (Randy) King; grandchildren, Nicolle (Robin) Parsons, Gillian (James) McLeod, Peter (Melissa) Gosse, Ryan Gosse, and James (Jenna) King; great grandchildren, Lilly, Rachel, Willow, Emma, and Luke. She also leaves to mourn, brothers George (Marion) Renouf, Joseph (Diane) Renouf, sister, Ellen (Eric - deceased) Marshall, sisters-in-law, Louise (Glen- deceased) Chaulk, Rose (Ed - deceased) Gosse, Jean (Don – deceased) Sceviour.
Eileen was predeceased by her husband, Azariah; her parents, Bert and Jessie Renouf; parents-in-law, Jack and Beatrice Gosse; siblings, Marjorie (Clyde) Conrod, Ronald, Sylvia (Charles) Gosse, Emerson, and little Freddie; sisters-and-brothers-in-law, Herbert (Jean) Gosse, Emma (Clyde) Rose, and Charles (Sylvia) Gosse. Also leaving to mourn, many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the nursing staff of Balsamview House for their outstanding love, kindness, and dedication, given to Mom during her stay at Western Long Term care. As well to Glenda, and the recreation staff and volunteers, for all of the joy they brought to Mom.
In keeping with Eileen’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue, on Wednesday, June 25th, from 2:00-4:00PM and 7:00-9:00PM. Funeral service to take place at Fillatre’s Chapel on Thursday, June 26th at 2:00PM with Rev. David Rusell officiating with an interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery; A reception to follow for reflection and remembrance. Refreshments will be provided.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Special Olympics Foundation
