It is with great sadness that the family of the late Doreen Lidstone announce her passing on June 25, 2025 in Corner Brook at the age of 82 years.
Left to mourn with loving memories are her husband and best friend: Derek; sister: Trudy Park (Roy); special nieces: Krista and Cecilia Park, whom she dearly loved.
Doreen was predeceased by her parents: Chesley and Dinah Sweetapple.
Visitation for family and friends will take place at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue, on Friday, June 27, 2025 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral service to take place at the Salvation Army Temple, O’Connell Drive, Corner Brook, on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at 2:00pm with interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. Flowers will be graciously accepted or donations in Doreen’s memory can be made to a charity of one's choice.
Her saying was “A laugh is worth a hundred groans in any market.”
