It is with great sadness that the family of the late Marie Laverna King announce her passing on Monday, June 23rd at the age of 64 years.
Leaving to mourn her beloved sons: Carlos and Blane King; her dear sister Shirley King and dear brothers: Dwayne and Leo King; cherished granddaughters: Keisha and Jada King. She will be deeply missed by extended family and friends whose lives she touched with kindness and grace.
She is now reunited in eternal peace with her beloved daughter, Stephanie King; dear brothers: Robert and Thomas King and dear sisters: Helen, Florence, and Elizabeth King; her loving mother Julia, whose memory she carried in her heart throughout her life.
Though our hearts ache with the weight of her absence, we take comfort in knowing that she has found eternal rest in the arms of the Lord. Her journey on this earth was one of grace, love and quiet strength-a testimony of faith that never wavered. She has now been called home, reunited with those who went before her, in a place where there is no more pain, only peace. In heaven’s light her soul shines brighter and though we will miss her dearly, we rejoice in the promise that we will meet again.
In honoring family wishes cremation has taken place
and further arrangements will follow at a later time.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral 37 west Street, Stephenville Crossing.
