It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of the late Derek Alfred Lidstone on July 9, 2025 in Corner Brook at the age of 82 years.
Left to mourn with loving memories are his sister-in-law: Trudy Park (Roy) and special nieces: Krista and Cecilia Park.
Derek was predeceased by his wife and best friend Doreen Lidstone, and his parents Ernest and Ruby Lidstone.
Visitation will be held at Fillatre's Funeral Chapel, St. Mark's Avenue on Friday, July 18 from 1-2 p.m. from where the funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. with Majors Brian and Valerie Wheeler officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery.. Donations in Derek’s memory can be made to a charity of one's choice.
