It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Richard Arnold Huelin, who died on Wednesday, July 9^th at the age of 80 years.

He leaves to mourn his loving wife of 49 years; Lorraine, their son; Sheldon (Jayne), cherished grandchildren; Elijah, Erik and Averie. He leaves to mourn sisters-in-law; Vivian Dalley, Irene (Doug) Shea and Phyllis (Lorne) Diamond; brothers-in–law: Rex Reddick, David Oxford and Wendell Dalley, nieces and nephews; Holly (Gary), Alyson, Lacey (Jamie), Gregory, Justin (Teresa), Kirk (Amanda) and Raymond.

He also leaves a large circle of extended family and friends. Richard is predeceased by his beloved son; Shawn Huelin, a loss that has remained close to his heart throughout his life. He is predeceased by his parents; Arnold and Effie, by his sisters-in-law; Pauline Oxford and Louise Dalley, his brothers-in-law; Cyril Dalley, Rubert Reddick and Guy Reddick. 

Those who knew Richard knew he loved being in the woods, sports, looking out over Robinsons River from Robinsons bank and loved having a chat with friends.

He was a hard worker, he worked in logging and silviculture until he retired.

Richard was deeply devoted to his family and his passing has left a profound sense of loss among all who loved him.

Honoring Richard’s wishes, cremation has taken place.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 37 West Street, Stephenville Crossing.
