Dorothy Grace Moores (nee Seymour) passed peacefully away at Charles S Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony on July 8, 2025.

Predeceased by her loving husband of 34 years Bruce Moores, parents Garland and Hannah Seymour (nee Chafe), her son Matty Lampe (Moores), special daughter Maria Lampe, special brother in law Harvey Moores and mother in law Greta Moores lovingly known as Nanny Moores.

Remembered with love and fond memories by her son Andy Moores, children in care Shaka, Noah, Juliette (Queenie) and Jacob. Her brothers David (Ina) and Robert (Patti), brother in laws Cliff (Josie), Wes ( Margaret), sister in laws Gertie, Barb (Frank), Lydia (Bill) and Loretta. Nephews Nikolas and Jonathan. Nieces Ronnie, Stephanie, Ava and Anna. As well as many other family members and friends.

Dorothy was an exceptional educator. Once retired from teaching Dorothy devoted her life to being a foster parent alongside her husband Bruce. “Yes I was a teacher but what I want to be remembered for is being a Mom”- Dorothy G Moores.

We are extremely grateful for the care and kindness of all medical personnel who cared for Dorothy throughout her cancer journey.

Service and internment will take place at a later date.
