Obituary of Faron Charles Gaslard

May 8, 1965 - July 15, 2025

It is with profound sadness that we the family of the Late Faron Charles Gaslard, age 60, of Port au Choix, NL, announce his sudden passing on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at the Western Memorial  Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL. Our hearts are broken with unexpected grief.

Faron was known to have a positive attitude and a cheerful disposition right till his last waking moment. He lived a quiet life and will be missed by all that knew him.

He leaves to mourn his beautiful daughter Trista and  beloved grandchildren Nathaniel and Penelope; brothers and sisters:  Reg (Hughena), Linda (Pat), Ronnie (Joanne), Alisa (James); nieces and nephews: Danielle (Brad), Danette (Deon), Deanna (Robbie), Gregory (Nicole), Stacey (Michael), Susanne (Keith), Ronda (Brad), and Landon; great-nieces and great-nephews:  Haley, Carter, Gracie, Bobby, Blake, Brianna, Victoria, Kobe, Ashton, Ethan, Alyssa and Mallory;  a large circle of extended family: aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Faron is predeceased by his father and mother, Harley and Mary, great-nephew Nicholas

A special thank you to the nurses and staff at the Rufus Guinchard Health Care Centre and the staff of ICU at Western Memorial Regional Hospital.

Visitation will take place at Fillatre's Funeral Home on Thursday, July 17th and Friday, July 18th from 2pm - 4pm and 7pm - 9pm.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 19th, 2025 at Saint Theresa Roman Catholic Church, Port au Choix, NL @ 11am with Father Jaison officiating. Interment to follow at Sandy Cove Interfaith Cemetery.
